Schoolarship FAQ
Accessing the service and completing the form
I can’t find the section to submit the scholarship application
The online application is available in the “Online services” section. Before applying, read the Call for Applications and the FAQs carefully.
I don’t remember the password I set when I registered
Since 1 October 2021, access to public administration services for Italian citizens who are of age must be made exclusively through SPID or CIE.
Therefore, the old login access is allowed only for minor students and international (non-Italian) students.
In the form I can choose to request a place in a university residence and the international mobility contribution, but how do I apply for the scholarship?
By filling in the online form you automatically compete for the scholarship. The options for a residence place and for the international mobility contribution are supplements to the scholarship and, for this reason, must be expressly indicated by those who are interested.
The online application form has no tick box for commuter students. What should I do?
The status of “in sede” (local) or “pendolare” (commuter) student is assigned automatically by the system, by calculating the distance between your place of residence and the location of your course. Only “fuori sede” (living away from home) status must be self-certified, as per art. 7.3 of the Call for Applications.
The online application form has no field for entering ISEE data. What should I do?
You do not need to enter ISEE data. Adisurc will retrieve directly from the INPS archives your latest ISEE certificate applicable to benefits for the right to university education (University ISEE), signed in the year of the BDS competition. (e.g. Call 2025/2026, ISEEU 2025)
When I try to log in with SPID, a message appears saying I have been blocked. What should I do?
To protect our services, an IT verification system is active. Some login attempts may be considered dangerous and therefore blocked. We will report your name so that it can be unblocked.
Who can apply
Can I take part in the competition even if I am not yet enrolled at the University?
Yes, you may take part in the competition even before completing your university enrolment. Those who are not found to be enrolled when the data is queried at the University will be placed in the ranking as suspended, which means:
<ul>
<li>the payment of any scholarship awarded is suspended</li>
<li>no place in a residence is assigned, if requested in the application</li>
</ul>
We recommend completing your enrolment for the academic year of the Call <strong>by the deadline</strong> for submitting applications to the BDS competition.
Can I take part in the competition if I am beyond the standard duration of my course (“fuori corso”)?
Yes, but only if you are enrolled in the “additional semester” (first year beyond the standard duration), except for candidates with a disability, who may compete even if enrolled in the second year beyond the standard duration.
Can I take part in the competition if I have already graduated?
Participation in the competition is excluded for those who already hold a university degree of the same level as the one they aim to obtain at the end of the course they are attending in the academic year of the competition (e.g. a student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree who has already obtained a bachelor’s degree cannot take part; a student enrolled in a master’s degree who has already obtained a bachelor’s degree can take part).
Can I take part in the competition if I intend to enrol following a transfer from another University?
Yes, provided you comply with the obligations set out in art. 5.4 of the Call for Applications.
Can I take part in the competition if I am enrolled in a first year, but I was previously enrolled in a first year at university?
No, candidates who, following a change of career, are enrolled again in the first year of a course of the same level as the one they come from are not admitted to the competition. However, they may take part from the second year onwards.
Can I take part in the competition if I have finished my exams and am about to graduate? Even if I don’t yet know whether, in the academic year of the competition, I will be enrolled in an “additional semester” of a bachelor’s degree or in the first year of a master’s (specialist) degree?
Yes. Students in this situation will be admitted to the competition:
<ol>
<li>if their graduation exam falls in the academic year of the BDS competition, they will be placed as an additional semester of a bachelor’s degree and any scholarship will be halved;</li>
<li>if their graduation exam falls in the <strong>extraordinary session</strong> of the academic year preceding the BDS competition, they will be placed:
<ol>
<li>as first year of a master’s degree, if they enrol in that course. They will be subject to verification of 20 CFU (university credits) by 10 August following, to determine whether they are entitled to 100% of the scholarship, 50%, or no scholarship</li>
<li>as an additional semester of a bachelor’s degree, even if they graduated in the extraordinary session of the academic year preceding that of the BDS competition, and any scholarship will be halved.</li>
</ol>
</li>
</ol>
In essence, students about to graduate will in any case be recognised as eligible as an additional semester, even if they graduated in the preceding academic year, but only if both of the following conditions are met:
<ol>
<li>graduation takes place in the extraordinary session of the academic year preceding that of the BDS competition and not earlier;</li>
<li>they do not enrol, in the academic year of the competition, in the first year of a master’s degree.</li>
</ol>
All these checks are carried out automatically by the Company, without the candidate having to submit any application.
Please refer to art. 1.2.4 of the Call for Applications.
I am about to graduate from a bachelor’s degree and will immediately afterwards enrol in the first year of a master’s (specialist) degree <strong>at a different university</strong>. What should I enter in the online application?
You must enter the university at which you are enrolled for the bachelor’s degree. Pursuant to art. 1.2.4 of the Call, the Company will automatically verify the progress of your career: you will initially be placed in the rankings of students enrolled in <strong>later years</strong> (of the bachelor’s degree), and any placement in the single ranking of first-year students (of the master’s degree) will take place after you notify the University you have chosen for continuing your studies. You can send the <strong>notification of change of University</strong> on your own, directly in the dedicated section of your Personal Area, by the deadline set by the Call.
Can I take part in the competition if I obtained a bachelor’s degree and, some time later, not in continuity with the previous year, I decided to enrol in a master’s (specialist) degree?
Yes. According to art. 1.2 of the Call, a master’s (specialist) degree is a type B course and, therefore, the university career of the students enrolled in it starts again from the year in which they enrol in that course.
Can I take part in the competition if I am enrolled in two degree courses at the same time?
Yes, under the conditions set out in art. 1.2.7 of the Call.
I am enrolled in two degree courses at the same time: a later year of a bachelor’s degree and the first year of a master’s degree. Which is the primary course and which is the secondary one?
No increase is granted in cases of double enrolment in courses of different types: Type A (bachelor’s/single-cycle), Type B (master’s), Type C (post-graduate).
Participation requirements
Do merit and income requirements have to be met by all candidates in the same way?
No. The requirements for taking part in the competition differ for candidates enrolled in the first year and for those enrolled in later years of the courses referred to in art. 1.2 of the Call for Applications. Income requirements must be met by all candidates at the time of taking part in the competition, whereas merit requirements must be met at the time of taking part in the competition only by candidates enrolled in later years of “type A” and “type B” courses.
For the purposes of ranking position, are merit or income requirements considered?
For those enrolled in the first years, no merit requirement is requested at the time of submitting the application, since eligibility and position within the rankings are determined exclusively on the basis of income requirements. However, in order to preserve the right to receive the scholarship, these candidates must subsequently meet the merit requirements, as detailed in art. 3.1 of the Call, with reference to the second adjusted ranking.
For those enrolled in any year of compulsory specialisation schools for the exercise of a profession (excluding those in the medical area pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 368/1999) or of PhD courses (if not recipients of the scholarships under Ministerial Decree no. 224 of 30 April 1999, activated pursuant to art. 4 of Law no. 210/1998), eligibility and position within the rankings are determined exclusively on the basis of income requirements.
For those enrolled in later years, without prejudice to meeting the income requirements, eligibility and position within the rankings are determined exclusively on the basis of merit requirements.
What minimum mark must I have obtained in the secondary school leaving exam (“maturità”) to access the scholarship competition?
For access to the single ranking reserved for students enrolling for the first time in the first year of a degree course, there is no minimum mark requirement for the secondary school leaving exam.
Merit requirements
Do I have to document that I meet the merit requirement when taking part in the competition?
No, merit requirements do not have to be self-certified or documented. The Company acquires the data <strong>directly from the universities’ archives</strong>.
How many credits must I have obtained to take part in the competition?
The credits are set out in detail in arts. 3.1 and 3.2 of the Call for Applications.
To reach the minimum merit requirement, candidates enrolled in later years can use “bonus” credits. Who carries out this operation?
The operation is carried out automatically: the IT system assigns the candidate the number of credits needed to reach the minimum merit requirement where the credits obtained are insufficient. The system stores the names of students who used “bonus” credits in previous competitions and to what extent. Bonus credits are not assigned to candidates enrolled in the first year.
For more information, see art. 3.6 of the Call for Applications.
I withdrew from my studies (or changed course) in a previous career and in the current academic year I am starting a new career enrolled in a first year. Can I take part in the competition?
No. As per FAQ 1.5, candidates who, following a change of career, are enrolled in the academic year of the BDS competition again in the first year of a course of the same type as the one they come from are not admitted to the competition. However, they may take part from the second year of the course onwards.
I withdrew from my studies (or changed course) in a previous career and in the academic year of the BDS competition I am starting a new career enrolled in a later year than the first. Can I take part in the competition?
Yes, you can take part. Your placement in the ranking will normally be made by resetting the previous career, i.e. using as the year of first enrolment the year of enrolment in the course attended in the current academic year and NOT counting any validated CFU.
The Company makes an exception to this general rule (and will therefore also count the validated CFU, but will set the year of first enrolment to the year of <strong>first enrolment ever</strong> in the type of course attended in the academic year for which you are competing)
<ol>
<li>if you request it;</li>
<li>if the University, following the change of career, enrols you in a higher year of the course (repeating students).</li>
</ol>
<em>Example: student with a previous career started in 2020/2021, change of career and new enrolment from 2021/2022 in the current bachelor’s degree:</em>
<ol>
<li><em>if the University enrols them regularly in the third year, they are placed in the ranking with year of first enrolment 2021, without counting the CFU validated from the previous career;</em></li>
<li><em>if the University enrols them in the fourth year (third year beyond the standard duration), they are placed in the ranking with year of first enrolment 2020 and not 2021, counting the CFU validated from the previous career.</em></li>
</ol>
I graduated from a <strong>bachelor’s degree</strong> (legal sciences) and I am starting a new career enrolled in a later year than the first of a <strong>single-cycle degree</strong> (law). Can I take part in the competition?
If, in the academic year in which you compete, you are enrolled from the first to the third year of the new single-cycle degree, you will be excluded from the competition for holding a degree of the same level (the first three years of a single-cycle degree correspond to the three years of a bachelor’s degree). If, instead, you are enrolled in the fourth or fifth year of the new single-cycle degree, you can take part.
Income requirements
Is the ISEE certificate issued last year still valid?
No. A new ISEE certificate issued in the year of the competition is required. Certificates issued in previous years, or in the following calendar year, are not accepted.
e.g. 2023/2024 competition -> ISEEU 2023. ISEEU 2022 and ISEEU 2024 certificates are not valid.
Does the University ISEE certificate (family unit resident in Italy) have to be sent to the Adisurc offices?
No, the ISEE certificate is retrieved by Adisurc directly from the INPS archives.
To this end, please note that, on pain of exclusion from the competition, the ISEE certificate must be retrievable automatically from the INPS archives, without extension, <strong>by the day after the competition deadline</strong>.
Does the Equalised University ISEE certificate (family unit resident abroad) have to be sent to the Adisurc offices?
Yes, no later than 31 March following the start of the BDS competition.
I am a foreign student. Where can I find the Equalised University ISEE certificate?
You can go to one of the Tax Assistance Centres (CAF) in Italy, or you can contact the Centre that has an agreement with Adisurc.
Must the scholarship received in the year of the income declaration also be declared in the DSU to obtain the ISEE certificate? (e.g. ISEEU 2024, scholarship amounts for calendar year 2022)
Yes, the DSU must declare the amounts of scholarships, graduation awards, international mobility contributions and compensation for student collaborations awarded in the academic years preceding the academic year of the competition, received in the calendar year relevant to the declaration. (e.g. ISEEU 2024, from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022, cash basis).
How to take part in the competition
Once I have filled in the application form, do I have to print it and send it to Adisurc?
No, the application to take part in the competition is received exclusively online.
Do I have to send Adisurc the documents relating to the information requested in the online application form?
Only some information has to be documented, certifying that it conforms to the original with Form 1 (self-certification) attached to the Call and also downloadable online, accompanied by a copy of an identity document. The list of documents required is given in art. 5.2 of the Call.
What is Form 1, attached to the Call for Applications, used for?
Form 1 accompanies the submission of the documentation required by art. 5.2 of the Call for Applications. Only candidates who are required to send that documentation must download Form 1, fill it in, sign it and send it together with their identity document and the documentation in question.
Can I edit the online application once it has been confirmed?
Yes, you can edit the data even if the application has already been “confirmed”, provided that the <strong>edit and further confirmation</strong> take place by the competition deadline.
Scholarship amount: increases and reductions
My ISEE certificate has a value lower than (or equal to) half of the threshold. Can I also benefit from the 20% increase for female students attending S.T.E.M. courses?
No, increases cannot be combined and you are entitled to the highest one.
My ISEE certificate has a value lower than (or equal to) half of the threshold. Can I also benefit from the 20% increase for being enrolled in another course of study at the same time?
No, increases cannot be combined and you are entitled to the highest one.
I am enrolled in two degree courses at the same time. How do I obtain the 20% increase of the scholarship?
The request must be submitted when applying for the competition. The increase is calculated automatically by the Company, following checks on your career with the University or Universities where you attend the two courses.
You are entitled to the increase:
<ol>
<li>if the main course and the secondary course comply with the rules of art. 1.2.6 of the Call (the primary course must be the higher one)</li>
<li>if you meet and maintain the merit requirements for both courses.</li>
</ol>
I am enrolled in two degree courses at the same time: a first year and a later year, both bachelor’s degrees. Which is the primary course and which is the secondary one?
The primary course is the one in which you are enrolled in a later year (the higher one), while the secondary course is the one in which you are enrolled in a first year.
Therefore:
<ol>
<li>the main course (later year) entitles you to the scholarship if you have already obtained the CFU required by the Call by 10 August preceding the Call deadline. The paying body will be that of the region of the primary course.</li>
<li>the secondary course will entitle you to a 20% increase of the scholarship if you obtain at least 20 CFU by 10 August following the publication of the Call, or a 10% increase of the scholarship if you obtain them by 30 November following the publication of the Call. No increase if you do not obtain at least 20 CFU by 30 November. The paying body will be that of the region of the secondary course.</li>
</ol>
I am enrolled in two degree courses at the same time and in both I am enrolled in a first year. Which is the primary course and which is the secondary one?
In the case of double enrolment in two first years, you must choose one as the primary course, which would entitle you to the scholarship. The second course becomes secondary and would entitle you to the 20% increase.
Among the requirements for obtaining the scholarship, in the case of enrolment in a first year, there is the obligation to obtain at least 20 CFU by 10 August following the publication of the Call (scholarship at 100%) or by 30 November following the publication of the Call (scholarship at 50%).
Therefore:
<ol>
<li>the main course you choose will entitle you to 100% of the scholarship if you obtain at least 20 CFU by 10 August following the publication of the Call, or 50% of the scholarship if you obtain them by 30 November following the publication of the Call. No scholarship if you do not obtain at least 20 CFU by 30 November following the publication of the Call. The paying body will be that of the region of the primary course.</li>
<li>the secondary course will entitle you to a 20% increase of the scholarship if you obtain at least 20 CFU by 10 August following the publication of the Call, or a 10% increase if you obtain them by 30 November following the publication of the Call. No increase if you do not obtain at least 20 CFU by 30 November following the publication of the Call. The paying body will be that of the region of the secondary course.</li>
</ol>
I am a student with a disability entitled to the 40% increase of the scholarship. Can I also have the 20% increase for female students and the 15% increase for an ISEE value lower than (or equal to) half of the threshold?
The three increases cannot be combined and you are entitled to the highest one, therefore only the 40% for the condition of disability.
What are the conditions for being entitled to the 50% increase of the scholarship, the so-called “Graduation Award”?
The conditions are:
<ul>
<li>obtaining the bachelor’s or master’s (specialist) degree within the duration set by the respective teaching regulations (i.e. not graduating beyond the standard duration);</li>
<li>being a recipient of the scholarship.</li>
</ul>
How is the Graduation Award assigned? Do I have to submit an application?
No, you do not have to submit an application. The Company automatically checks with your University whether you are entitled to it. The award is assigned <strong>only if resources are available in addition to those for scholarships.</strong>
Can someone who has already received the “Graduation Award” during the bachelor’s degree receive it again during the master’s degree?
Yes, because these are two different courses of study, the first of “type A” and the second of “type B”, as per art. 1.2.1 of the Call for Applications.
I graduated within the time set by my teaching regulations, but I did not apply for a scholarship. Can I still obtain the Graduation Award?
No, because the Graduation Award is an increase of the scholarship.
I will graduate in the extraordinary session of academic year 2022/2023, in spring 2024. Am I entitled to the 2022/2023 Graduation Award, or can I compete for the 2023/2024 scholarship?
Please read FAQ 1.6 first.
The scholarship (e.g. 2023/2024) is also granted to students who graduate in the extraordinary session of the preceding academic year (2022/2023), precisely because that session in fact extends well beyond the end of the academic year (in this specific case October 2023). This is a scholarship reduced by 50% because it corresponds to the last semester (art. 6.2 of the Call).
In this case there could be an overlap with the 2022/2023 Graduation Award (if the student is a scholarship recipient in the same year and graduates within the deadlines), but it is not possible to pay both benefits.
Therefore, in cases like yours, where you would be entitled to both benefits, since they cannot be combined the Company applies the financial condition most favourable to you, between the 2023/2024 scholarship (50% of the scholarship, corresponding to an additional semester) and the 2022/2023 Graduation Award (50% of the scholarship, corresponding to the graduation award).
“On-site”, “commuter” and “off-site” students
How do I declare that I am an “in sede” (local), “fuori sede” (living away from home) or “pendolare” (commuter) student?
You do not need to declare your status as an “in sede” or “pendolare” student, since Adisurc calculates it automatically and assigns:
<ul>
<li>”in sede” status if the declared residence is in one of the Municipalities listed in art. 7.2;</li>
<li>”pendolare” status if the declared residence is in one of the Municipalities NOT listed in art. 7.2 and if no details of a lease contract have been communicated.</li>
</ul>
If, instead, you wish to compete as “fuori sede”, you must expressly request it in the online application form. “Fuori sede” status is in fact assigned:
<ul>
<li>if the declared residence is in one of the Municipalities NOT listed in art. 7.3</li>
<li>if the candidate has obtained a place in a University Residence or has self-certified the details of a lease contract, in the manner set out in art. 7.3 of the Call</li>
</ul>
Can I obtain “fuori sede” status without having signed a lease contract yet? Or if I have a lease contract from last year, which is renewed after the competition deadline but does not cover 10 months in the current year?
Yes. If, at the Call deadline, the candidate does not yet hold a residential lease contract, they can regularise their position afterwards, as provided by the Call. Until regularisation they will have “fuori sede con riserva” (conditional) status, with the scholarship amount of a commuter student.
What should I do if I want a place in a university residence? Do I still have to sign a paid contract?
In general, to obtain a residence place you must be in the potential condition of a “fuori sede” student, i.e. you only need to meet the requirement of residing in a municipality more than 30 km from the location of the degree course, since the additional condition of having signed a paid contract is satisfied by taking up residence there. Students who are admitted to a residence are in fact considered “fuori sede” if they remain residents for a total period of 10 months. However, if the candidate is not admitted to a residence because the available places have run out, they must sign a contract in order to be considered “fuori sede”.
Compiling and publishing the rankings, allocation of funds
How is the ranking position determined?
Each type of ranking (provisional, definitive, adjusted) is drawn up for:
<ul>
<li>students enrolled for the first time in the <strong>first year</strong>: a single ranking per university, ordered in ascending order solely on the basis of the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE).</li>
<li>students enrolled in <strong>later years</strong> than the first: several rankings, compiled by grouping candidates by year of first enrolment and by degree course (“aggregations”), ordered in descending order on the basis of the merit index (IM).</li>
</ul>
I am suspended in the ranking. What does it mean? How can I resolve it?
It means that you have not yet completed your enrolment in the current academic year, so it is not yet possible to declare either eligibility or exclusion from the competition.
For this reason, payment of the scholarship, if awarded, is blocked for these candidates until the conditions of suspension are removed within the deadlines set by the Call.
Once the operations needed to regularise your career have been carried out, the suspension is lifted ex officio, following verification by Adisurc with the university/AFAM institute concerned.
Where and when are the rankings of the competition published?
All rankings are published exclusively on the Adisurc website.
In addition, each candidate can check the outcome of the competition in their personal electronic file, accessible with their personal credentials.
What can I do to contest the outcome of the rankings?
After the publication of the provisional rankings, candidates can submit a request for correction of income or merit data, as provided in art. 8.3 of the Call for Applications.
Against the definitive and adjusted rankings, an appeal may be made to the Regional Administrative Court (TAR) of Campania within 60 (sixty) days of their publication, as per art. 8.6 of the Call for Applications.
Before filing an appeal with the TAR, again within the 60-day period, you can ask the Company to examine your appeal by way of administrative self-review: submit a request using the ticketing system in your personal area and state the reasons why you contest the outcome of the rankings.
How do I obtain a refund of university fees?
Eligible candidates, whether or not awarded a scholarship, will receive this refund directly from the University/AFAM institute, after Adisurc has communicated the names of those entitled to the University. The methods of refund or of any exemption must be checked with the University/AFAM institute concerned.
How do I obtain a refund of the regional fee?
Eligible candidates, whether or not awarded a scholarship, will receive this refund from Adisurc when the balance of the scholarship is paid, without any action on their part being necessary.
Payment of scholarships
When are the scholarships financed with ordinary resources paid?
Scholarships are paid within the terms set by the Prime Ministerial Decree (DPCM) of 9 April 2001:
<ol>
<li>the 50% advance of the cash portion of the scholarship, for all candidates who are not suspended in the rankings, is paid by 31 December;</li>
<li>the remaining 50% balance of the cash portion of the scholarship is paid:
<ul>
<li>for students enrolled in later years than the first, not suspended: by 30 June;</li>
<li>for students enrolled in the first years, not suspended: after verification that at least 20 CFU have been obtained by the following 10 August or the following 30 November;</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>
NOTE. For candidates who are suspended in the rankings, payment is suspended until the causes of suspension are removed. The deadline for regularising one’s position is set out in the Call and varies according to the reason for suspension. For these candidates, therefore, the advance and the balance may be paid in a single instalment.
How are the scholarship amounts, the refund of the regional fee and any other cash contributions paid?
The amounts are credited directly to the bank account indicated online by the candidate.
Cash payments against direct receipt are not allowed.
Is it mandatory to provide the IBAN code?
Providing the IBAN code is not mandatory in order to take part in the competition, but it is a necessary condition for obtaining payment of the scholarship and the refund of the regional fee. If it is not provided, payment of the amounts is suspended until the position is regularised.
Can I also provide a foreign IBAN?
Yes, but only if it belongs to the <a href=”https://www.bancaditalia.it/compiti/sispaga-mercati/sepa/”>SEPA</a> circuit.
Can I send the IBAN code by fax and/or email?
No. Candidates must send the IBAN exclusively through the dedicated online function.
Can a Postepay card, a Superflash card, a postal savings book, etc. be used to receive the scholarship?
All payment methods that have an IBAN enabled to receive credits are accepted. A postal savings book, for example, can NOT be used.
Can a family member’s current account be used to receive the scholarship?
No. The account must necessarily be held or jointly held by the student. Otherwise the transaction will not be completed and the amounts will be returned to the Company.
How to use scholarships and services
How can I request a place in a residence?
The method of participation is the same as for scholarships. You must indicate in the online application form that you are also competing for a residence place.
Is the accommodation service paid for all candidates?
Yes. The accommodation service is paid for everyone, at a reduced rate.
Payment is made, depending on the case, by direct payment by the student or by deduction of the amount from the scholarship by Adisurc. Please refer to art. 10.3 of the Call.
Is it mandatory to accept the residence place assigned?
As a rule, residence places are assigned to the students who requested them in the online application form, with invitations issued in ranking order.
Only if there are not enough requests compared to the places to be assigned will the Company invite candidates ex officio. In this latter case, accepting the residence place is a necessary condition for obtaining “fuori sede” status. In case of refusal, “pendolare” status is automatically acquired.
Is the catering service reserved only for those taking part in the scholarship competition?
No. The catering service is open to all university students, regardless of whether they take part in the competition.
Is the catering service paid for all candidates?
No. The service is paid, at a reduced rate, for “fuori sede” and “pendolare” students who are eligible for the competition and awarded a scholarship, as well as for eligible students not awarded a scholarship who are enrolled in the first years.
The service is free for “in sede” students who are eligible for the competition and awarded a scholarship, as well as for students who are eligible for the competition but not awarded a scholarship, enrolled in later years.
The payment methods are, depending on the case, direct payment or deduction from the scholarship, according to art. 1.04 of the Call.
Is it mandatory to use the catering service?
No. However, Adisurc deducts the cost of the meal (traditional or alternative) from the scholarship for “pendolare” and “fuori sede” students in the locations where the service can be used through a university canteen, namely the Fisciano Campus and the Parthenope canteen. Please refer to art. 10.4 of the Call.
International mobility contribution
What requirements must I meet to be entitled to the supplementary contribution for international mobility?
For the supplementary contribution for international mobility to be granted, the following conditions must be met:
<ul>
<li>the candidate must be an eligible scholarship recipient in the definitive rankings referred to in art. 8.4 of the Call for Applications;</li>
<li>the period of study and/or traineeship must receive academic recognition of at least 6 CFU within their course of study;</li>
<li>the candidate must not have received the same contribution during their course of study;</li>
<li>the stay abroad must not exceed 10 months.</li>
</ul>
The contribution is assigned only if resources are available in addition to those for scholarships.
How much is the supplementary contribution for international mobility?
For the current year the monthly contribution is set at a total of € 600.00. Adisurc pays the difference between this amount and the contribution assigned by the University for the mobility grant, so that the total contribution between University and Adisurc is € 600.00 per month, paid according to the days of actual stay abroad. This contribution is then increased by € 100.00 as a refund of return travel expenses to a European country and by € 500.00 as a refund of return travel expenses to a non-European country.
Can I receive the international mobility contribution again during the master’s (specialist) degree, even if I already received it during the bachelor’s degree?
Yes, because these are two different courses of study, the first of “type A” and the second of “type B”, as per art. 1.2.1 of the Call for Applications.
If I receive the supplementary contribution for international mobility, am I considered “fuori sede” for the time I spend abroad?
No. The requirements to be considered “fuori sede” are those set out in art. 7.1 of the Call.
I am “fuori sede” and I will leave for Erasmus for 6 months. I will sign 2 different contracts: one lasting 6 months at the foreign residence that will host me and, for the remaining period, I will sign a lease contract in Campania. How do I submit all the relevant documentation and thus be considered “fuori sede”?
The necessary condition for obtaining the “fuori sede” scholarship increase is to occupy a residence place for a minimum of 10 months in the period 1 October – 30 September. The scholarship increase is specifically intended to cover accommodation costs and is not due if those costs are not incurred. For the period abroad, in fact, the university and Adisurc contribution for international mobility is provided. Therefore, in the presence of a shorter contract, including because of an Erasmus absence, the status will be that of a commuter (“pendolare”).
When is the international mobility contribution paid?
Payment is made at the end of the stay abroad, once the checks have been carried out with the candidates’ reference Universities.
Reserved area: payments and IBAN
I am a scholarship recipient, but I entered my IBAN late. Will I still obtain the benefit I am entitled to, or have I lost the scholarship?
You will still obtain the benefit, unfortunately not within the deadlines set by the Call for Applications, but afterwards, in the periodic payment batches made by the Company.
I am a scholarship recipient, but I entered an incorrect IBAN and the amount was not credited to me. Will I still obtain the benefit I am entitled to, or have I lost the scholarship?
You will still obtain the benefit, unfortunately not within the deadlines set by the Call for Applications, but afterwards, in the periodic payment batches made by the Company. However, you must update the IBAN code in your reserved area.
Why have I not received the scholarship payment even though I am entitled to it and I have provided my IBAN?
You may not have received the payment:
<ul>
<li>because you are suspended in the ranking for some merit or income reason</li>
<li>because you have not yet provided your IBAN code</li>
<li>because you have provided an invalid IBAN code.</li>
</ul>
In the last two cases, please log in to your reserved area and provide a valid IBAN.
What does it mean that the IBAN I provided is not valid?
The IBAN code is not valid when:
<ul>
<li>it does not correspond to a bank or postal current account (or to another chosen electronic payment instrument, with an associated IBAN code) belonging to the <a href=”https://www.bancaditalia.it/compiti/sispaga-mercati/sepa/”>SEPA</a> circuit</li>
<li>it is not held or jointly held by the student who is the recipient;</li>
<li>it is not formally correct (27 alphanumeric characters in the case of an Italian IBAN, or the structure provided for other nationalities: <a href=”https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Bank_Account_Number”>https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Bank_Account_Number</a>);</li>
<li>it refers to a closed or blocked current account;</li>
<li>it refers to an expired payment card;</li>
<li>it refers to a payment card not enabled to receive funds;</li>
<li>it refers to a payment card whose collection limit has been exceeded;</li>
<li>it refers to a postal savings book.</li>
</ul>
I cannot enter the IBAN code, even though it is in my name. Why?
Make sure you enter, in the IBAN section, the same first name and surname you used when you registered and which appear in your personal records, so that there is a perfect match. Pay particular attention to accents or special characters and do not type spaces at the beginning or end of the field: a space counts as a character.
